BID ITEM 1: Procure Trash Receptacles Contractor to procure BearSaver trash receptacles per the list below. Contractor is responsible for storage of the units prior to installation. A quote from the supplier is included in this bid for reference only, contractor to confirm pricing. BID ITEM 2: Installation of Concrete Pads Installation of (15) 6' x 6' x 6" deep concrete slabs. The concrete pads occur at various parks per the list included in this bid, e.g., not all of the receptacles require pads. Contractor responsible for minor grading and soil removal (including off haul) to allow for level concrete pad. No rebar or aggregate base is required. Soil subbase to be compacted to 95% compaction. BID ITEM 3: Installation of Trash Receptables - Installation of (57) trash receptacles across multiple parks per the list included. Trash receptacles to be bolted to the ground per the manufacturer's specifications. Delivery of the (5) spare Bearsaver units to the Structural Maintenance Yard at 100 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, SF, CA 94122. Disposal of (40) existing trash receptacles at multiple sites.
