The VA Saint Louis Health Care System, John Cochran Division, requires a construction contractor to replace critical elevator components in Building 1 at the John Cochran VAMC. The work includes removal of existing counterweight sleeved sheaves in six elevators (P1-P4, S5-S6) and installation of new counterweight sheaves with sealed bearings, along with installation of cable guards in these elevators. Additionally, the contractor will remove existing compensation chain assemblies in four elevators (P1-P4) and install new compensation rope assemblies. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and resources necessary to complete the work, ensuring high quality and compliance with applicable standards. All installation details must be coordinated with the VA Contracting Officer and on-site COR. The period of performance is 365 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. **Location:** Saint Louis VA Medical Center, John Cochran Division, 915 Grand Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63106.
