Description

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Salmon, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.

The project consists of replacement of a buried approximately 120 linear feet, 4-foot diameter CMP with an open bottom custom arch pipe structure. The Contractor will be required to provide temporary road access for residents up EF Tower Creek Road during construction. Construction includes excavation of approximately 5,000 cubic yards of earthwork, procuring and installing a 20-foot span by 16-foot rise arch pipe, providing engineered pre-cast footings, 170 square feet of gabion wire wingwalls, and backfill on the County gravel road. Instream construction window is July 1 to August 16. Bids require a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required for the successful bidder if the bid amount is greater than $50,000. Names and Public Works License numbers must be included on the Sub-Contractor List if the total project value exceeds $50,000. Attention is called to the employment conditions to be observed, and all craftsmen and laborers must be paid at least the minimum prevailing wage rate as determined for this area by the U.S. Department of Labor.
