Site work for a water / sewer project in Salmon, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project, conducted in partnership with MHE and the Salmon-Challis National Forest, involves restoring approximately 4.6 miles of range fencing and one water development exclosure within the Forney C&H Allotment on the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District. These structures, located near the confluence of Porphyry Creek and Panther Creek, were damaged during the Red Rock Fire and are essential for protecting riparian and aquatic habitat while supporting continued grazing operations. Proposals will be reviewed by a committee composed of representatives from MHE and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS). Applicants will be notified within one week regarding acceptance or rejection of their bid. A State of Idaho Public Works Contractors License is required prior to contract award if the bid exceeds $50,000. Bidders without a current license must demonstrate the ability to obtain one before submitting a proposal. If the total project value exceeds $50,000, bidders must list all subcontractors and include their names and Public Works License numbers. Bidders are advised that all labor and employment requirements applicable to this contract must be observed. All craftsmen and laborers performing work under this contract shall be paid no less than the minimum prevailing wage rate determined for this area by the U.S. Department of Labor.
