Renovation of an educational facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
4453 Natural Science, 4456a Faculty I, 4459 Fine Arts Ii, Modernization, KACC. Submission of an electronic response constitutes an offer to sell the specified goods and/or services to the University of Hawaii at the price shown in the response and under the University of Hawaii's terms and conditions. The electronic response submitter certifies that he/she is authorized to sign the response for the submitting vendor and that the response is made without connection with any person, firm, or corporation making a response for the same goods and/or services and is in all respects fair and without collusion or fraud. Only responses submitted through HEPS shall be considered for award. Vendors are advised that they may be liable for Hawaii State taxes including Hawaii General Excise Tax (4%) and the applicable Use Tax (.5%). For the City and County of Honolulu (Oahu), there is an additional .5% County Surcharge Tax. Offers for goods or services subject to Hawaii taxes shall include all applicable taxes in the price offered. The awarded vendor shall pay a transaction fee of 0.725%, capped at $5,000, to Sicommnet on the total dollar amount of goods or services purchased through the Hawaii Electronic Procurement System (HEPS). Payment must be made to Sicommnet within thirty days from receipt of invoice. Bidders must download attachments, enter pricing if indicated, complete other required information if indicated, and submit by the solicitation closing date and time. The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to the following: 1. Building 4456A Faculty Building I: New mechanical room addition, renovation of interior spaces, and new mechanical system, as indicated on the Drawings and Technical Specifications. 2. Building 4459 Fine Arts II: New mechanical room addition, renovation of interior spaces, and new mechanical system, as indicated on the Drawings and Technical Specifications. 1. Vibration isolation and seismic restraint of new equipment and systems within project boundary defined in architectural drawings. 2. Vibration isolation and seismic restraint of new equipment and systems in existing buildings to points of connection with existing systems. 3. Provide supplementary structural steel for seismic restraint systems. No hanging from roof deck is permitted on this project, unless specifically allowed by Structural Engineer of Record in writing prior to bid.
