Estimated Construction Range: $5,000,000+ The Work consists of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil modifications to correct building code deficiencies, replace aging systems, and improve life safety, energy efficiency, and overall facility performance for the swimming pool at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Troth Yeddha’ Campus Ernest N. Patty Center in Fairbanks, Alaska. A building addition will house a new HRV. Additive alternates exist to address pool vessel penetrations and piping, pool filtration and treatment systems, observation balcony railing upgrades, and flooring and floor drain replacement. Bidders are advised that the University of Alaska has a procedure for accepting alternate products or systems prior to bid opening. Acceptance of substitutions after award is limited. Bidders must register through the website to be notified of addenda. The bidder is responsible for periodically checking the site for addenda or additional information for the project. Bid security is required to be submitted with each bid. The project consists of the Patty Center Pool Code Corrections at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Work includes architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil modifications to correct building code deficiencies, replace aging systems, and improve life safety, energy efficiency, and overall facility performance. A building addition will house the new HRV. C. Major work elements include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Egress and Life Safety: New emergency exit and stairwell. 2. Building Envelope: New interior and exterior wall assemblies. 3. Mechanical Systems: Replacement of pool filtration and treatment systems, new ductwork and HRV system.4. Fire Protection and Suppression: Application of fire protection to the structure. Additional sprinkler coverage and conversion to wet pipe system. 5. Electrical and Lighting: Reroute power to Patty Ice Arena and provide power to the addition. Replace electrical systems and lighting. 6. Interior Finishes: New interior wall panels and acoustic wall and ceiling systems. Wall and floor tile, guardrail system. 7.
