Site work and new construction of a laboratory facility in Fairbanks, Alaska. Completed plans call for the construction of a laboratory facility; and for site work for a laboratory facility.
Construction Range: $500,000 - $1,000,000 The University of Alaska is seeking bids for the Usibelli Room 009 Radioisotope Laboratory project. The Work consists of building out of a new laboratory to include framing, vapor barrier, gypsum wall board, paint, acoustical ceiling, light fixtures, and modifications to existing plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Additive alternates exist to address floor coverings, laboratory casework, tables, plumbing fixtures, and the fan coil unit (FCU). Bid security is required to be submitted with each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. State law requires a bid to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible "Alaska Bidder" after bidder's preferences and Alaska Products Preferences have been applied. Further instructions are contained within the Instructions to Bidders. The University of Alaska reserves the right to reject any or all bids, offers, or parts thereof it deems necessary, to waive any informality in the bid or offer received, and to award in the best interest of the University. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
