Site work and paving for a road / highway in Taber, Alberta. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Current site south of the Scope Dam is currently a greenfield site and the road is expected to extend 4 miles north of HWY 875 up to TWP Rd 13-0 then one mile north of HWY 875 it goes east 1 mile to include access to the sections adjacent to that. The North/South section will be considered RR 14-3, the East/west section will be called TWP Rd 12-4. This project aims to provide access to land that is to be irrigated in the near future while maintaining a strong public perception and stakeholder accountability. TIMELINE: Project is in design. The intention is to proceed with construction in 2026. Further update may be available late summer/fall. *Budget is unreleased.
