General Intention of the Contract:- The general scope of this contract is for the purchase and installation of (18) standalone digital keyless door locking system at the Tisbury EMS Building. The Town has Trilogy locks in other departments and would like to stay with the same type. This contract is bid under the provisions of M.G. L. Chapter 149. General Scope of Work :- a. General scope of work is to replace 18 existing locks with Trilogy locking system. b. These locks need to be easily programmable and can keep a detailed event audit log of usage to include; time-stamped by day, date, time and user. c. All software should be provided and loaded on designated Town workstation with all passwords and access granted to the Town's I.T. Manager. d. Any locks for exterior need to be rated for exterior and be weatherproof. e. The EMS Building will need to give up to 100 people access to this building and would like to access by remote pocket size key fob with a remote range up to 100'. f. The contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, machinery, apparatus, tools, supplies and all other incidentals necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the work and as herein specified in this contract. g. The contractor shall, by submitting a bid, confirm that they have visited the site to become familiar with the site, its environs and the anticipated scope of work. The contractor may conduct their own site investigations at his/her own costs to confirm that the scope of work is accurately represented and understood. h. All work may begin after notice of award and must be completed by March 31, 2026. The contract price will include all the manpower, material (unless specified otherwise), and equipment necessary to complete the work.
