Renovation of a mixed-use development in Binghamton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade, 30-unit multi-residential development; and one-story above grade office development.
Binghamton University is seeking a contractor to perform work within the Brandywine Apartment complex (thirty apartments, public lounges, and laundry room) and the Choconut office space. The HVAC contractor will be responsible for working with or alongside other contractors underway within the same spaces during the course of the work. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: removing existing fin tube radiator covers, and providing and installing new fin tube radiator covers. The contractor will also install two new PTAC units in the office space in Choconut, with the unit, sleeves, and grilles provided by the University. Prospective bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder, regardless of where the bidding documents were obtained. All official notifications, addenda, and bidding documents will only be offered through the designated website. The designated website and registered bidders will be periodically updated with relevant information for submitting a bid. Neither the owner nor the engineer will be responsible for documents obtained from other sources.
