The project consists of clearing, open drain construction, culvert removal and replacement, berm construction, driveway repair, traffic control, landscape restoration, and soil erosion and sedimentation control. It involves furnishing all supplies and installation and construction of specified major items of work, including but not limited to: mobilization, soil erosion & sedimentation control, maintaining traffic, selective clearing (tree and log jam removal), sediment removal, channel excavation, spoil leveling, berm construction, rip rap installation, tree and brush removal, mowing both sides of the channel, furnishing and installing erosion control structures and various tile outlets, installing a steel weir plate, removing and installing various driveway and road surfaces (gravel, asphalt, concrete), daily seeding and fertilizing, mulch blanket, cleanup and restoration, and culvert work (including removal and replacement at designated stations). Final payment will be based on measured quantities. The contract is to be let in one section covering all the specified work and locations. Bidders are required to follow the instructions provided, including attending a mandatory pre-bid conference. Bids must be made and received in accordance with the contract documents, plans, and specifications, which are available for download or purchase. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder providing adequate security and meeting the project conditions. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved if no satisfactory bids are received.
