Hannig Construction Inc. ("CMC") is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide work and services related to the public work project located at the Putnam County YMCA - Natatorium Addition in Greencastle, IN ("Project"). The work consists of Architectural, Structural, Mechanical (including Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, and Sheet Metal Trades), Electrical Work, Site Work, Special Equipment (including Pool installation), Kitchen Equipment, Detention Equipment, Security Electronics and all the Work as defined on the Contract Drawings and Project Manual. Question Deadline 11/26/2025 at 3:00 PM ET IN Questions regarding the project, or requests for fair and equal treatment, can be directed in writing to the CMc - shall@hannigconstruction.com. All work for the complete construction of and services for the project shall be performed under contracts with the CMc. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security, which shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, in the required form and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security shall be a Bid Bond from a surety company, a certified check or a cashier's check. See the Instructions to Bidders for additional information. No bid shall be modified, withdrawn or canceled for a period of One-Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days after the date and time set for receipt of Bids. Prior to approval and execution of the CMc's contracts, each contractor who is the successful bidder for a project shall furnish an approved performance and labor ad materials payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, which shall cover the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Performance and payment bonds shall remain in full force and effect for a period of one year after the CMc's acceptance of the work and CMc's final settlement with the successful bidder. CMc expects to award separate contract(s) for the work to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder(s), but reserves the right to hold bids, including any alternates, for up to 120 days from the date of the bid opening. Bidders shall attend a pre-bid conference with representatives of the Owner and Architect to discuss demolition sequence, securities, contractor's work and storage areas and requirements for contractor's personnel working on the Project. CMc reserves in its sole discretion the right to cancel the solicitation, reject any or all bids, is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other bid, and may waive any irregularities, discrepancies, omissions, variances or informalities in the bidding procedure.
