Project InformationSite currently contains a one- story building with structural impairments/damages and significant vegetative overgrowth. The City has declared this an Unsafe Building pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-9- 1; the owner has been ordered to vacate and the building is required to be demolished. The successful contractor is to demolish the structure and remove all rubble/debris per the Project Specifications. The City of Greencastle is accepting bids for the demolition of and debris removal for the structure(s) located at 9 Beveridge Street, Greencastle, Indiana. The Owner of the structure(s) is David R. Brown. The successful bidder will be responsible for the demolition of the structure(s) on-site, which will include: Removal of all structures and debris including any accessory structures from the site as described above; Backfilling any subsurface to grade; Removal of trees UNDER 6 inches in diameter, damaged tree limbs overhanging the property, underbrush, and rank vegetation; Compliance with all other regulations applicable to demolition set forth in the Greencastle City Code and all other applicable Ordinances.
