Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Altavista, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Two (2) bound and typewritten copies of all sealed bids shall be presented and marked as "ITB #JRTP2026: JENKS RIVER TRAIL Attn: Mr. Paul Hill" on the outside of the envelope. The Town of Altavista will receive sealed Bids from qualified contractors to construct the Jenks River Trail. The Town reserves the right to waive formalities in any Bid and to reject any or all Bids in whole or in part with or without cause or penalty and/or to accept the Bid that in its judgment will be in its best interest. The Contractor shall perform all required work and shall provide and furnish all labor, supervision, materials, necessary tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services and all else required to complete this work in accordance with the project specifications and all Addenda. Contractor shall be required to provide silt fence on the water side of all areas where storm piping is installed. Contractor will also seed any disturbed areas that do not receive a stone finish.
