Reference Number 0000404301 There are nine (9) paved lots within the Township identified for cleaning. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for providing cleaning and sweeping of the paved areas and guCer pans utilizing high powered vacuum sweeping and high-volume air blower equipment and techniques or equivalent methods to ensure thorough cleaning. Upon completion of each job, parking lots must be free of dirt, debris and liCer. Post cleaning and sweeping photos shall be provided to the Owner of each site for documentation of the work completed. The degree of cleanliness is to be reasonably determined by the Township Engineer or the Township's contractual designee. The contractor may be recalled to re-clean any unsatisfactorily cleaned paved lots without charge. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of all materials collected during the cleaning process as identified in EGLE's Catch Basin Cleaning Activities Guidance document and determined by the Township Engineer or the Township's contractual designee. All work shall be in accordance with Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) state and local regulations. Documentation shall be provided on disposal site used. Bid prices furnished on a per lot or square foot basis shall cover transportation and appropriate disposal at an approved waste facility. The envelope containing the bid must be identified on the outside as "Bid for Delta Township Paved Lots - Sweeping". No Bidder may withdraw its proposal for a period of 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. This time period may be extended by mutual agreement of the Owner and any Bidder or Bidders. Owner reserves the right to accept any Bid, to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities in the Bids, to negotiate Contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Also, Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubMul financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner.
