This work shall consist of fabricating, furnishing, assembling and mounting double-faced Street Name Signs suspended from traffic signal mast arms. The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing and erecting in place, complete in every detail, ready for service, underground traffic signal structures and above ground signal installations at the above named intersection, or as hereinafter specified. The construction of the underground structures and above ground installation of the traffic signal systems and their components is hereby classified as Specialty Work. This work shall be undertaken under the direction of a qualified State of New Jersey constructor of traffic signal systems. The work shall include the construction of a complete semi or fully actuated traffic signal installation, both underground and above ground, at the location shown on the plans; furnishing and installing all necessary materials and equipment including pole assemblies, pedestal assemblies, controllers, conduits and fittings, meter and controller cabinets, signal cable, service wire; construction of concrete foundations and emplacements including anchorages, excavation, backfilling, trenching where required, excavation of sidewalks or pavement materials; removal and disposal of excavated materials; wiring, bonding and grounding, connection to utility services, painting and testing, plus any tree trimming deemed necessary by the ENGINEER.
