Renovation and addition to a library in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade library; and one-story above grade library.

Separate sealed bids are requested for the general contract for the East Rutherford Memorial Library addition and renovation, including all work incidental to the addition and renovation and as required in the Project Manual. Bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and address. Bids must be accompanied by a guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid (not to exceed $20,000), in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, and must include a consent of surety. The successful bidder must provide a performance and labor and material payment bond. Bidders must be authorized to do business in New Jersey and provide certification if incorporated elsewhere. Compliance is required with New Jersey Department of Labor registration, Business Registration requirements, disclosure of prohibited Russia-Belarus & Iran investment activities, Affirmative Action, Non-Discrimination laws, and Statement of Corporate Ownership. Contractors must maintain documentation related to the project for five years after final payment and provide it to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller if requested. Public work contractor registration and payroll certification must be completed online and by hard copy.
