Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for MA - 2024 EAST RUTHERFORD EAST UNION AVENUE. The work involves performing the contract in accordance with the specified contract drawings and specifications. All bids must be submitted on the provided forms and state the price in words and figures for each item of the work as shown in the drawings and contemplated in the contract. Bidders must include a signed bid with their business address and place of residence, and the bid must be sealed and labeled appropriately. Each bid requires accompanying documents: consent of surety, non-collusion affidavit, ownership statement, ownership financial statement, and a bid security in the amount of ten percent (up to $20,000) of the total bid amount. Bidders must execute the contract and furnish performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, within five days of notice. The contractor must begin work within 7 days of contract signing. Proposals must be made upon the provided blank forms and submitted in the bound specification book, which must remain intact. Evidence of ability, capital, experience, and equipment to complete the work within the specified time must be provided. The contract is partially funded by the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund Authority Act. Compliance with New Jersey affirmative action, prevailing wage, stockholder disclosure, and equal opportunity requirements is mandatory. Small, Minority, and Women’s Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate. Bids must be held firm for sixty days after submission. All questions about the meaning or intent ofthe Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing and faxed to the Borough Hall (fax no. 201-933-6111). Replies will be issued by addenda mailed, faxed or delivered to all parties recorded by the ENGINEER as having received the bidding documents Question Deadline 10/14/2025 Small, Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises are encouraged to obtain specifications and compete for the contracts
