Site work for a civil project in Sewalls Point, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work consists of re-lining and reconstructing existing dry Gravity Sewer lines within the Rio Vista Subdivision. The gravity lines, service lines, and some Force Main/LPFM must be cleaned, videoed, have roots and obstructions removed, cleaned, relined, lateral services cut and relined, and tested. Some lines may require repair and relocation if settlements are encountered. All Gravity Sanitary Sewer lines, manholes, and valves must meet FDEP and Martin County Utilities specifications when relined or reconstructed. The contractor must also be capable of building a Sanitary Sewer Lift Station (Type B Lift Station with wet well, control panels, and electric hookup) to be located in the NW corner of the lot at Lantana Lane/Admirals Court. Upon completion, the lift station and sewer lines will be tested and placed into operation. The contract will be issued under separate bid schedules for the relining/relocation of gravity lines and for the lift station work. Contractors may bid on either schedule separately or both schedules together. The Town may add or delete work from this contract or use multiple contractors as needed. Additional projects may include sewer lines and lift stations in other subdivision and road areas. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond/Security equal to ten percent of the Bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Construction Payment and Performance Bond in accordance with Section 255.05 Florida Statutes. No bid may be withdrawn for 120 days after submission. The Town reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, reject any or all bids or parts of bids, and award to a single or multiple bidders as serves the Town's interest best. The resulting contract shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidders whose total base bid for gravity line or lift station bids include the requirements and criteria set forth in this ITB and whose award will be in the best interest of and most advantageous to the Town of Sewall's Point, taking into consideration; Base Bid amount, the financial responsibility of the bidder, quality of materials, personnel and equipment resources, proven skill and experience, abilities to timely perform the contract, previous satisfactory performance and such other abilities of the bidder that the Town, in its sole discretion, determines will enable it to perform effectively and efficiently the contract being bid upon. The Town may add/delete work from this contract or use multiple contractors to complete this work in order to make as many South Sewall's Point residents obtain Sanitary Sewer Service. In addition to the Rio Vista Subdivision Gravity Sewer improvements, the Town may add Gravity Sanitary sewer lines/lift station projects such as lines/lift station in: Sewall's Meadow, Ridgeland, Hillcrest Subdivisions and Marguerita Dr., Oakwood Dr., Kingston Court, Riverview Dr., Pineapple Ln, Heritage Place and Copaire Dr. road areas. The Proposed projects must be substantially completed prior to June 1, 2026 and final completion by June 15, 2026 in compliance with an FDEP Resiliency Septic to Sewer Grant criteria described in the Bid Documents. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after submission by the date set for the opening thereof. The Town, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive all minor technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid, to award to a single bidder or to divide the award between bidders, and to re-solicit this bid or any part of this bid. The Town further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award a contract to the bidder (or bidders) who(se) bid best serves the interests of the Town.
