Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work includes the replacement of the existing Digester 4 floating cover with a fixed stainless-steel cover. This involves the demolition of the existing floating cover, installation of the new fixed cover, removal and reinstallation of associated safety valves, level transmitters, and other associated appurtenances or supporting facilities, as well as other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and technical specifications. All labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work must be included and performed in strict conformity with the contract requirements. Bidders must comply with requirements related to the use of apprentices on public works. Only those bidders who have registered as a vendor and are listed as prospective bidders may submit a bid. Bidders are required to have a representative attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the project site to be eligible to bid.
