GW has two filtration plants: Adkins, located in Pickens County, and Stovall, located in Greenville County. Greenville Water draws water from three sources: Table Rock Reservoir, Poinsett Reservoir, and Lake Keowee. Adkins draws water from Lake Keowee, while Stovall draws water from the Table Rock and Poinsett Reservoirs. The purpose is to solicit responses from interested respondents to provide chemicals for water treatment at the two filtration plants listed above. The contract will be for one year, starting on or about January 1, 2026, with an option for renewal for another twelve-month term at the discretion of Greenville Water. Terms and conditions for the extension will be negotiated with the winning respondent. The in-scope products for this solicitation include: - Liquid Aluminum Sulfate (Alum) - Ammonium Hydroxide (Aqua Ammonia) - Liquid Sodium Hydroxide, 50% (Caustic Soda) - Liquid Chlorine Gas - Liquid Hydrofluorosilicic Acid (Fluoride) - Ortho/Phosphate Blend, 75%/25% - Liquid Sodium Thiosulfate, 30%.
