Berkeley County Water & Sanitation is seeking qualified contractors to extend the existing water system on Halter Drive, by installing a looped system, branching off the existing 8-inch water main. The work will include the installation of new 6-inch and 8-inch water mains along multiple corridors in Berkeley County. The project consists of approximately: a. 3,119 linear feet of 6-inch water main that runs along Imperial Drive b. 3,300 linear feet of 8-inch water main that runs along US Highway 52 c. 1,338 linear feet of 6-inch water main that runs along Deerpoint Drive All construction will take place within existing SCDOT and Berkeley County Road rights-of-way. BONDS: Bids in excess of $100,000.00 will require a 5% Bid Bond.
