Site work for a water / sewer project in Saint Stephen, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Berkeley County is seeking qualified contractors to upgrade existing 4-inch sewer mains by installing 8-inch gravity sewer mains with manholes along approx. 350 LF of Cardinal Street, 465 LF of Lipman Drive, and 380 LF of Mendel Rivers Road in St. Stephen, SC. As part of the installation, existing sewer services will need to be re-established, and new sewer services with cleanouts will be installed. Work will take place within the SCDOT rights-of-way. Offerors requiring additional information may submit their questions via the Berkeley County Bids and Proposals website located at https://proposals.berkeleycountysc.gov/. The deadline for submitting written questions is February 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST. Verbal information obtained otherwise will not be considered in the awarding of the solicitation. Project shall be substantially completed within 220 calendar days of the County’s Notice to Proceed. Final completion shall occur within 250 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages shall be applied as shown in the Agreement
