This project consists of removal and replacement of manual operating interior, chain driven dual shade light-filtering and room darkening roller shades, operating independently of each other in all windows of rooms and spaces, at the City of Chico Municipal Center (411 Main Street, Chico CA 95928). Adjust and balance roller shades to operate smoothly, easily, safely, and free from binding, tracking or malfunction throughout entire operation range. The Contractor shall provide all necessary permits, labor, materials and required equipment to complete said work. The term of the Contract shall be 120 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond in favor of the CITY OF CHICO in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid price (Page BP-5). Such guaranty shall be forfeited should the bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract. All bid blank spaces shall be used. An unmarked blank will be considered as an exception. The City of Chico encourages Contractors to submit bids although their bid may not meet City specifications in their entirety. Contractor should note exceptions where applicable. The City reserves the right to reject any Bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the City that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the project work contemplated therein.
