Site work for a water / sewer project in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
This is a three-year contract for an annual lead service line replacement program from 2026-2028. The scope of work includes the replacement of approximately 324-358 lead water service lines on an annual basis for a total of approximately 1,006 lead service line replacements. Water service line replacements are from water main to meter or b-box to meter. The scope also includes PCC, HMA, and sod restoration. A bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond, or cashier's check made payable to the Village of Arlington Heights must accompany all proposals or bids. Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130) and the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions. Bidders are required to register as a vendor prior to viewing the bid documents. Instructions for obtaining specifications and submitting bids are provided through an Electronic Bid Management System, and vendors must be logged in to access bid documents and receive updates such as addenda. Any questions regarding the bid documents be submitted to Kristen Meehan at kmeehan@eeiweb.com. The last day for questions shall be Monday, November 24, 2025, at noon.
