Renovation of a medical facility in Cherokee, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
Construction Manager, DCI Group, has been engaged for this Project to serve as advisor to DAS and to provide assistance in administrating the Contract for Design between DAS and the Designer according to separate contract between DAS and Construction Manager. DAS is currently seeking evaluation and design servicesfromqualified firmsfor a project consisting of Tuckpointing Repairs at Cherokee Mental Health Institute, Phase 2.2 Questions, requests for clarification, and suggested changes from Respondents due to Construction Procurement 11/24/25 at 12.00 pm The State of Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional evaluation and design services for the HHS CHMHI Tuckpointing Phase 2.2 Project. Remove all existing deteriorated mortar from exterior multi-wythe masonry walls as shown on the drawings. Provide new mortar, matching the existing in color, texture, composition, and tooling, and repoint joints as specified. Cut out and replace spalled or cracked masonry units. Provide protection of all adjacent materials, windows, doors, and grounds during construction. Clean up the site daily. Bid Instructions: Submit bid on the provided bid form. All blanks must be filled in. Include unit prices for any alternates or items as specified. Submit experience and qualifications for consideration.
