Site work for a water / sewer project in Eddyville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
PROJECT: This two-part project includes the interconnection of the 6"watermains running along Gregory Rd and Lake Scene Dr, and the interconnection of Eddyville& Caldwell water systems along US62 on the eastside of Eddyville near the intersection with US Highway 62 and Liberty Church Rd. Construction will consist of the installation of approximately 2,650L.F.of new 6"PVC watermain. BIDSECURITY: A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent(5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Eddyville reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty(60)days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The details concerning the process, qualifications, evaluation, and award of the project are set for than described in detail in the Instructions to Bidders. If any person contemplating submitting a bond for construction of the work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans or specifications or finds discrepancies in or omissions from any part ofthe plans or specifications, he may submitto the Engineer, a written request for interpretation thereof not later than seven (7) days before the bid opening date Interpretations or corrections of the plans or specifications will be made only by Addendum, and will be mailed, delivered or faxed to each bidder of record.
