Site work and paving for a road / highway in Oshawa, Ontario. Working plans call for paving for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
Construction from the new Connector Road to Townline Road. The remaining realigned 4-lane Bloor Street including storm sewer installation and a proposed retaining wall, railway grade separation (road bridge over rail), connector road, termination of existing Bloor Street with two cul-de-sacs, one east of Farewell Creek and the second west of the existing at-grade railway crossing. Continuation of the multi-use path on the north side of Bloor Street to Townline Road. New sidewalk on the south side of Bloor Street from the connector road to Grandview Street. TIMELINE: Contract 1 is out for bid. Detail design work for Contract 2 is currently at the 90% design stage. Construction is expected to commence in spring of 2027 subject to completion of design, utility relocations, property and permitting. Updates may be available early 2027.
