Site work and addition to an educational facility in Farmington, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Farmington Public Schools 2020 Bond Issue, specifically Bid Package #18 for the Farmington High School Addition. The bid package consists of separate sealed bids for various bid divisions, including Earthwork & Site Utilities, Asphalt Paving & Site Concrete, Selective Demolition, Concrete Footings & Foundations, Building Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Carpentry & General Trades, Roofing, Aluminum Windows/Entrances/Glass/Glazing, Metal Studs & GPDW, Hard Tile, Acoustical Treatment, Carpet & Resilient Flooring, Painting, Plumbing, Fire Protection, HVAC, and Electrical. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (bid bond or certified bank check) equal to 5% of the bid amount. If awarded the contract, the bidder may be required to provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids. Bidding documents will be publicly available, and there will be a non-mandatory prebid meeting to review bidding documents, project schedule, and answer questions.
