Reference Number 0000404439 The U.S. Space & Rocket Center Commission seeks proposals from qualified firms to furnish a sealed itemized public bid for the replacement of a "Walk-In" Freezer for our Food Services Department. The purpose for this RFP is to obtain an itemized bid for the purchase and delivery and assembly of an outside freezer unit that meets the minimum specifications as listed below. The freezer will need to be delivered and assembled on an existing concrete pad. The USSRC will be responsible for final electrical service connections to the unit. Freezer Specifications: Minimum interior dimensions of 7' 1" x 19' 6" x 6' 10". Unit must have a defrost cycle. Unit must have internal lighting. Minimum door opening of 34" x 78". Minimum thermal set point range of -10 F to +0 F. Unit shall have an externally read, 2" dia. dial thermometer. Unit must be compatible with the following electrical service: 208-230 V/1 phase/60 Hz/30 amps 120 V/15 amps Equipped w/an internal door release. When facing the front of the freezer the refrigeration units shall be mounted on the left-hand side of the freezer roof for maintenance access. Freezer door shall be at the far-right hand of the front of the freezer. All sealed public bids must be submitted on official Vendor Letterhead. Additional documentation required to be included in the bid packet will be a Current Certificate of Insurance, DHS E-Verify Documents, AL Vendor Disclosure Statement, Business License, and Vendor W9 form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the State of Alabama or the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Commission will thereby be promoted.
