Foothill Transit is issuing this Invitation for Bids No. 25-011 (IFB) soliciting bids from qualified individuals or firms to replace the fire pump at Foothill Transits Administrative Building, as more fully described in the Scope of Work and Specifications and Drawings provided in Part IV of this IFB. Foothill Transit's West Covina location at 100 S Vincent Avenue, West Covina, California houses administration functions for the transit agency. The building is a multistory commercial building that was built in 1969 with some services receiving no upgrades since their original installation. The primary concern at this moment is the fire suppression system fire pump that has exceeded its life expectancy. Replacement of the fire pump is to be a priority to enhance the safety of the building occupants. Project Goals The goal of this project is the procurement of the fire pump and driver and any associated components required to replace the existing equipment. Installation and testing services are to be provided for all equipment being replaced. All equipment shall be ready for immediate use at the conclusion of this project.
