ILDOT - 076 - Lighting Improvements on IL 50 The work consists of removing, salvaging, and replacing the existing HPS luminaires with new LED luminaires along the length of the project in accordance with the Drawings, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidentals necessary for completion of the project. The scope of work shall include the assumption of responsibility for the continuing operation and maintenance of the existing, proposed, temporary, sign and navigation lighting, or other lighting systems and all appurtenances affected by the work as specified elsewhere herein. Maintenance of lighting systems is specified elsewhere and will be paid for separately. The proposed lighting system must be operational prior to opening the roadway to traffic unless temporary lighting exists which is designed and installed to properly illuminate the roadway
