*As of 02/04/2026, the current bid submittal scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026, is postponed to a future date not announced. The Owner may resume solicitation under modified conditions and documentation. All previous issuances of the bid documentation shall be hereby withdrawn. Updated bid information shall be distributed once available.* This project involves exterior improvements and interior renovation work at Dwight D. Eisenhower and Harold L. Richards High School. The work in general includes exterior curtain wall replacement and installation, remodeling of existing office spaces, including, but not limited to: General Trades, Concrete, Drywall and Framing, AV and Low Voltage, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing. Bids will be publicly opened and read. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the Bid that, in its opinion, will serve the best interest of the School District. The Owner reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Pre-qualification requirements: Contractors must be pre-approved by JP Architects Ltd. prior to picking up documents.
