The work includes Electrical Upgrade, Water Heater Removal and Replacement, and Crawl Space Weatherization at 846 Sherman ST SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506. Dimensions, if furnished, are for general reference only and should be verified by the Respondent. All materials and methods of construction must comply with locally adopted code requirements and meet with the approval of local code enforcement officials. The contractor shall obtain, pay for, and post on site all permits and licenses necessary for project completion. Contractors and subcontractors must have current Michigan Residential Builders License, trade-specific licenses, or certifications as required by the State, County, and/or local government. A copy of the necessary licenses and certifications is to be provided with the Bid Response or previously on file with Kent County. Bidders are encouraged to establish delivery schedules and divide the total requirements into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by small businesses, minority businesses, women's business enterprises, veteran-owned businesses, and labor surplus area firms.
