The City intends to retain the services of a qualified design firm to assist with the development of renovation documents for this Project. Tasks will include project programming, product research, pre-design, design and construction stages. Once awarded the project, the Consultant will be expected to coordinate a start-up meeting with a designated City Representative assigned to this project. This meeting will confirm key steps needed to establish the project program and identify City personnel that will be affected by the work or who have information to contribute towards the design. Consultants are expected to approach the work for each building separately, with bidding and construction documents to be produced individually for the Beresford Recreation Center and the San Mateo Senior Center. PST December 4, 2025 The City of San Mateo intends to retain a qualified and committed professional firm or individual (Consultant) to provide Remedial Architectural Services (Services) to the City of San Mateo Department of Public Works - Facilities Division, for the design, product research, coordination, documentation, and construction administration for the re-roofing of two City of San Mateo (City) facilities. Anticipated tasks are outlined in the Scope of Services section of this document. The selected Consultant will be expected to provide design services for two (2) City-owned buildings that are identified in separate reports as described below. These buildings are of various configurations and sizes and contain different roofing material compositions.
