Bidders are expected to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the services as described. All work must adhere to specifications and requirements established and be completed to the satisfaction of the institution. This RFP is a single contract procurement vehicle designed to select a company who can meet the needs of the University, while understanding the current environment and our desired future enhancements. The response to this RFP will be considered as an offer to contract. Final negotiations on the best offer, if deemed necessary by the University, will be conducted to resolve any minor differences and informalities. After final negotiations, an acceptance of any RFP offer may or may not be issued by the University. The University is seeking multiple contractors to provide all materials, supplies, equipment, supervision and labor necessary for pressure washing, power washing (heated) and soft washing sidewalks, **roofs, exteriors of ERAU buildings, and exterior window cleaning as needed. The intent is to establish a pool of vendors on an indefinite quantity contract to be utilized on an "as needed per job" basis. While no amount of work is guaranteed, it is the intent of the university to have as many firms provide services to the campus as possible. ** Sika roof cleaning techniques are to be used on the Student Union roofs. A copy of that information is attached to this bid. It is not needed on any other building on campus. PRESSURE/POWER WASHING/SOFT WASHING NON-TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Pressure washing, power washing and soft washing sidewalks, roofs and exterior of University buildings and areas of the campus. Clean exterior windows as indicated. Substrates include but are not limited to steel, plaster, metal, brick, aluminum, wood, gypsum board, galvanized metal, concrete, fiberglass, EFIS, or cinder block. Contractor will be required to furnish, when requested, evidence satisfactory to the University that he or she has sufficient means and experience to perform the type of work specified, to ensure completion of the contract in a satisfactory manner. During the soft wash process, no high pressure is to be used. All mold, dirt, mildew and bug deposits must be removed.
