Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Harrod, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

PROJECT SCOPES OF WORK General Construction: Includes but is not limited to the construction of a pre-engineered metal building system with metal roofing, exterior metal panel siding, interior metal liner panel in the ambulance bay, and manufacturered stone masonry on column wraps. The building will include an ICC 500 storm shelter. It will also include aluminum storefront systems, overhead sectional doors, flush wood doors, hollow metal doors and frames, and metal stud framing with gypsum wallboard to be painted. There will be casework in select areas and interior finishes as shown. Site Work: Site work is to include the gravel base for an asphalt drive and asphalt parking lot, concrete patio areas and sidewalks, parking wheelstops, and corresponding pavement paint. Trees and shrubs are also added. Site furnishings include traffic signage, a flagpole, and a dumpster enclosure. Civil work is to include downspout lines, yard drains, storm sewer, water line, sanitary sewer lines, septic system, well system, detention basin with storm sewer outlet and dry hydrant. Grading and erosion control will also need to be added. Drilling of the well and the well pump, the leech field, and the sanitary line from the building to the leech field will be by others. Plumbing Work: Includes, but not limited to a new domestic hot and cold water, sanitary, propane gas, compressed air and sanitary vent systems throughout the building to new fixtures and equipment. New water heater, well tank, propane tank, and air compressor. Refer to the drawings and specifications for additional information. HVAC Work:HVAC work is to include providing new furnaces, air conditioning units, exhaust fans, ductwork, associated dampers, insulation, testing and balancing, electric resistance heaters and radiant tube heaters to condition and ventilate the new building. Electrical Work: Includes, but not limited to new 400A, 120/240V, 10 electrical service from new pole mounted utility transformer, power distribution equipment, standby generator and associated equipment, smoke, carbon monoxide and heat detectors, interior LED lighting with standalone lighting controls, exterior LED lighting, receptacles, power to mechanical, plumbing and technology equipment and rough-ins for technology, security and access control devices. Technology Work: New work includes, but is not limited to: Providing category 6 cabling for the data network, wireless data network, telephones, A/V systems, security/access control, and CCTV systems as indicated on the drawings. Provide security/access control system and devices. Provide A/V systems and equipment as indicated on the plans. Provide PA speakers and cabling as indicated on the drawings. A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or suret company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid.
