As of 12/18/2025 The Upper Scioto Valley Ambulance District project is rebidding in January. The work includes the construction of a pre-engineered metal building system with metal roofing, exterior metal panel siding, interior metal liner panel in the ambulance bay, and manufactured stone masonry on column wraps. The building will include an ICC 500 storm shelter, aluminum storefront systems, overhead sectional doors, flush wood doors, hollow metal doors and frames, and metal stud framing with gypsum wallboard to be painted. Casework will be provided in select areas and interior finishes as shown. Site work includes construction of an asphalt drive, asphalt parking lot, concrete patio areas and sidewalks, parking wheelstops, and corresponding pavement paint. The work also involves planting trees and shrubs, installation of site furnishings such as traffic and monument signage, flagpole, and dumpster enclosure, along with civil work including downspout lines, yard drains, storm sewer, water and sanitary sewer lines, septic system, well system, detention basin with storm sewer outlet and dry hydrant. Grading and erosion control must be performed. The well drilling and pump will be by others. Plumbing work consists of providing a new domestic hot and cold water system, sanitary, propane gas, compressed air, and sanitary vent systems, along with new fixtures and equipment, water heater, water treatment systems, well tank, propane tank, and air compressor. HVAC work includes new furnaces, air conditioning units, exhaust fans, ductwork, associated dampers, insulation, testing and balancing, electric resistance heaters, and radiant tube heaters to condition and ventilate the new building. Electrical work includes a new 400A, 120/240V, 1Ø electrical service from a new pole mounted utility transformer, power distribution equipment, standby generator, detectors (smoke, carbon monoxide, heat), interior and exterior LED lighting, receptacles, power to various equipment, and rough-ins for technology, security and access control devices. Technology work includes providing category 6 cabling for data network, wireless data network, telephones, A/V systems, security/access control, and CCTV systems, and includes PA speakers and cabling as indicated on the drawings.
