The Contract involves furnishing all labor and materials required to perform complete rehabilitation of wetwell concrete surfaces and replacement of discharge piping at Greencrest Lift Station. Question Deadline 11/28/2025 interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications, which will be issued and mailed (or faxed) to the prospective Bidders (at the addresses furnished for such purposes), no later than 72 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays) prior to the time fixed for the opening of bids Each bid must contain the full name and street address of the Bidder, a signed Non-Collusion Affidavit, a signed Personal Property Tax Affidavit, and a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Failure to submit bids in conformance with the Contract Documents will result in the rejection of the bid as non-responsive. 1. Project Overview The Greencrest Lift Station Wetwell Rehabilitation project consists of complete surface preparation and coating of the concrete surfaces within the wetwell per the technical specifications and replacement of piping as shown on the attached drawings. 2. Concrete Rehabilitation Contractor shall perform surface preparation of the wetwell as specified in Section 09910 of the technical specifications. The contractor shall coat all concrete surfaces within the wetwell after properly prepared per Section 09920 of the technical specifications. 3. Piping Replacement Discharge piping for all four shall be replaced from the pump elbow through the valve vault wall at the flange coupling adapters. All piping shall be ductile iron Class 53 per BCWS Specification 3210. All piping shall be lined per BCWS Specification 3240. The exterior of the piping shall be coated with a high performance coating recommended by the manufacturer. All piping supports, intermediate guide rail brackets, and hardware shall be replaced with 316 stainless steel. 4. Bypass Pumping Bypass pumping will be required to perform the wetwell rehabilitation. Design, installation, and operation of the bypass pumping system and all incidentals required are to be performed by the contractor per BCWS Specification 3930. 5. Measurement & Payment Work shall be paid for on a lump sum basis as outlined in the bid form. Invoices must be submitted to BCWS monthly including a detailed ledger containing the completed amounts of each bid item. The right is reserved by the County to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best Bid, and to hold Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the Bids and Bidders.
