Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must comply with both state and federal prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Hamilton, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239 and the U.S. Department of Labor. The federal prevailing wages supersedes the state prevailing wages on this project.
