Demolition, site work, paving, asbestos abatement and new construction of a mixed-use development in Flint, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 200,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Demolition and abatement of the existing buildings and site and Construction of the new Flint High School and associated site improvements. The new school is approximately 200,000 SF including a gymnasium, auditorium, administration wing, community space, and academic support spaces. The project is anticipated to historically preserve a portion of the existing High School building on the site. The various site improvements include parking lots, athletics, and other amenities. Project Location 601 Crapo St, Flint, MI 48503 Flint Community Schools (hereafter referred to as "Owner") has engaged Plante Moran Realpoint (hereafter referred to as "PMR" or "Owner's Representative") to provide Owner's representation services for this project. Your firm is invited to submit a proposal for the services required in this request for proposal (RFP). This RFP includes minimum qualifications that must be met or exceeded. It should be noted that this is an expedited proposal process with the goal of having an award by the end of December 2025. Respondents must be able to react quickly to the project demands in order to be successful. This RFP includes the following attachments: A. Project Scope Project Description - Flint High School: Schematic Design Narrative dated October 27, 2025, as prepared by Stantec Architecture, Inc. Milestone Schedule (see below) Renderings as prepared by Stantec Architecture, Inc. Site Program Arrangement as prepared by Stantec Architecture, Inc. Schematic Design Package (drawings and narrative) dated October 27, 2025, as prepared by Stantec Architecture, Inc. Owner reserves the right to reject any proposal with or without cause, to not award a contract, or to award one or more contracts. Owner further reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in this RFP process or any proposal.
