Site work for a civil project in Jupiter, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to replace two existing sulfuric acid bulk storage tanks and two day tanks including level transmitters and probes for each tank associated with the nanofiltration (NF) treatment process at the Water Treatment Plant. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of: tanks; fill, transport, overflow and vent piping; electrical panels, conduits, and wires/cables; compressed air piping for the bulk acid storage tanks; and installation of new desiccant air dry systems for both the NF bulk acid storage tanks and the reverse osmosis (RO) treatment acid tanks; as well as all related components and appurtenances required for maintenance of water treatment plant operations and to provide a complete and operational system as described in the Bid Documents. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the Town Clerk, on paper and in electronic format, in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The Town reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered The work associated with the NANOFILTRATION ACID TANKS REPLACEMENT project will generally consist of the following: 1. The Town of Jupiter (Town) owns and operates the Town of Jupiter WTP. The WTP has a design capacity of 30 MGD. 2. The existing WTP uses sulfuric acid in the treatment process. Under this project, the Contractor will replace the existing sulfuric acid bulk tanks and day tanks at the nanofiltration (NF) process, level transmitters and probes for each tank, and also provide dry-air desiccant systems at the reverse osmosis (RO) existing acid storage tanks and at the NF replacement acid storage tanks. 3. Contractor shall perform testing and inspections, witnesses by Owner/Engineer to confirm the work and material provided on the project are in accordance with the Contract plans and specifications. 4. It is the intent of the Owner to obtain complete and working installations under this Contract and any items of labor, materials, or equipment which may reasonably be assumed as necessary to accomplish this Work shall be supplied whether or not specifically shown on the Drawings or described herein. Maintenance of existing operations is mandated throughout the construction period.
