A. This division includes the demolition and removal of foundation. B. Existing rubbish, trash and junk apart from that of demolished building shall be removed and the entire site left clear of such materials. Except as otherwise shown or stipulated, the demolition work herein stipulated shall be carried to completion. C. All demolition and constructions shall be done in accordance with procedure as established at time of signing the Contract and which shall be scheduled in cooperation with the owners occupancy requirements and with a minimum of inconveniences to the other. D. In accordance with the Air Pollution Control regulations of the Michigan department of Public Health, the open burning of debris from demolition of building will not be permitted. The contractor shall dispose of all debris in a sanitary landfill that has been approved by local authorities having jurisdiction. Demolition and removal of the building located at 227 N Winter Street, including house, any outlying buildings, foundation, and sidewalk from the street to the house; seeding and straw placement; disposal of building material; capping sewer; landfill charges; clean backfill. The contractor will repair any damage to sidewalk, etc. resulting from this work and is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits. Asbestos survey and remediation will be completed before demolition at the expense of the City of Adrian. Demolition and all related construction activities shall be carried out according to procedures established at time of contract signing, scheduled in cooperation with the owner's occupancy requirements with minimal inconvenience to others. All demolition debris must be disposed of in an approved sanitary landfill. Open burning of debris is not permitted. Bidders must submit sealed bids clearly marked on the outside as "Sealed Bid - Demolition 227 N Winter St." All bids must be firm for at least thirty days after the official opening. The City of Adrian reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. Mandatory pre-bid walk through at 227 N Winter. Bidders must obtain all permits necessary for the work.
