Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information" Cancellation Description Due to cardinal changes within the scope of this solicitation, the solicitation is hereby cancelled in its entirety.The requirement will be re-solicited when the full scope of the requirement's needs has been clarified by the subjectmatter experts requesting the services to be provided. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to maintain automatic doors at the Omaha and Grand Island Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMCs) in first-class operating condition through a comprehensive preventive maintenance and emergency repair program. Preventive maintenance will be performed quarterly in March, June, September, and December, following manufacturer-recommended procedures for various door models including BESAM SL500, Dorma Kaba ESA 200, Stanley Dora, Gyrotech, and others. Maintenance includes inspection, testing, cleaning, adjustments, and replacement of worn or deficient parts. Corrective maintenance services must be provided within 24 hours of notification, with emergency repairs requiring contractor presence onsite within 8 hours and non-emergency repairs within 5 business days. Repairs are categorized as small-scale (up to $3,000 in parts) or large-scale (up to $5,000 in parts), with defined annual limits per facility. Contractors must maintain an inventory of common replacement parts and ensure technicians are certified by AAADM and trained by BESAM, with access to Stanley MYQ software. The contractor is responsible for organizing and managing all work, including kickoff meetings, reporting, and compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 101, BHMA), infection control (ICRA), and pre-construction risk assessments (PCRA). All personnel requiring routine access to VA facilities must obtain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge prior to commencing work. The contractor must demonstrate five years of experience in automatic door maintenance of similar scope and size.
