Site work for a residential development in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade, 44-unit residential development.
The Wyandotte Nation is requesting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide design, bidding, and construction-phase services for the Heritage Acres Infrastructure Expansion Project. The project aims to extend infrastructure services for a new 17.12-acre housing development adjacent to the existing Heritage Acres community in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Anticipated improvements include clearing and grading, paved roadways, curb and gutter, stormwater basin, sanitary sewer and water line installation, fire hydrants, underground electric and fiber, streetlights, and erosion control. The infrastructure will support construction of up to forty-four (44) single-family or duplex housing units, with the initial phase expected to include approximately eight (8) duplexes. Indian Preference will be observed in accordance with the Wyandotte Nation Procurement Policy, and qualified Indian organizations and/or Indian-owned professional A/E firms that provide proof of Indian ownership or certification will receive an additional point in scoring. Questions can be directed to Planning and Natural Resource Director Christen Lee at 918-678- 6341 or by emailing clee@wyandotte-nation.org. Interested firms must submit seven (7) unstapled copies of their proposal by the specified deadline. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held during which firms may view conceptual plans, ask questions, and/or view the site. Evaluation of proposals will be based on professional qualifications and experience; past performance; experience in construction period services; small business opportunities; location and knowledge of the locality; eligibility (not debarred, suspended, or declared ineligible); A/E fee schedule; and documentation of Indian organization or Indian-owned enterprise status. The Wyandotte Nation reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities in the proposal process. Proposals should address each evaluation factor as described, including providing resumes for key personnel, past performance details, experience in construction period services, use of small businesses, knowledge of the project area, eligibility status, a fee schedule, and evidence of Indian ownership or certification if applicable.
