Ada County ("County") is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the supply of scrubber media ("Media") to scrub hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from the landfill gas (LFG) stream at the Ada County Landfill ("Landfill"). This treatment is necessary to comply with the County's Title V air permit, ensuring the LFG meets regulatory requirements before being flared. The Media will be used in the Landfill's existing scrubber tanks, which are designed to reduce H2S concentrations to below 600 ppm, with a target of consistently achieving below 500 ppm. The County expects to receive proposals that offer a cost-effective, efficient solution to reduce H2S by at least 95%, with Media that does not require water addition.
