Renovation of a laboratory facility in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade laboratory facility.
Scope of work includes the removal of natural gas and vacuum piping, along with associated equipment, from laboratory spaces. Bidders are to follow all specified procedures for safe and complete removal, ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Instructions to bidders require submission of proposals according to the formats and requirements outlined in the solicitation, adherence to specified deadlines, and any detailed procedural or safety requirements listed within the project documentation. A description of the Work of this project can be summarized to include: o Disconnect, de-commission and cap ng pipesserving lab spaces and lab fume hoodsturretsto render safe the existing ng piping system. o Add new natural gas piping to serve plumbing equipment (water heater) that are to remain. o Provide replacement laboratory air compressor and vacuum equipment. o Remove for demolition existing air compressor and vacuum pump equipment that is no longer being used Question Deadline 12/08/2025 Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum
