Construction of four beach volleyball courts at the Judge Edward Dufresne Community Center. Bids must be submitted either by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested, hand delivered, or electronically submitted. Contractors must be properly licensed in Louisiana. Each bidder must include security in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond. Electronic bids must contain all the required documents as physically delivered bids. The outside of the bid envelope must include the submitting firm’s name, Louisiana Contractors License Number, the St. Charles Parish Project Number, Bid Number, and the St. Charles Parish Project Title. Question Deadline 12/30/2025 LOCATION OF WORK All of the work of this Contract is located in rights-of-way owned and/or granted right to use by St. Charles Parish. 1.02 WORK TO BE DONE A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services and incidentals to complete all work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. B. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place, and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, testing, permits, cleanup, replacements and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. C. All materials, equipment, skills, tools and labor which are reasonably and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the work in a substantial manner and in compliance with the requirements stated or implied by these Specifications or Drawings shall be furnished and installed by the Contractor without additional compensation, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents or not. D. The Contractor shall comply with all Parish, state, federal and other codes which are applicable to the proposed construction work. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED A. The Work included in the Contract shall be described in other parts of these Specifications. B. All work shall be done as described in the Specifications and as shown on the Drawings, complete, tested and ready for operation.
