Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in South Bend, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Work includes construction of a new sidewalk, parking area, playground, splashpad, pavilion, restrooms and appurtenances at O'Brien Park on East Walters Street in South Bend, all more particularly described in plans and specifications prepared by Abonmarche Consultants. Electronic bids must be on the City of South Bend Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form, accompanied by an electronic copy of a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid plus any alternates. The awarded bidder will be required to send the original check or bid bond via USPS. Each contractor must comply with "City of South Bend EEO Contracting Provision Diversity Utilization" included in the specifications as to each construction trade it intends to use on this construction contract and all other construction work in the St. Joseph County area during the performance of this contract or subcontract. The contractor commits itself to the goals for minority manpower and all other requirements, terms and conditions of these bid conditions by submitting a properly sealed bid. Woman and Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (W/MBE) are encouraged to respond. It is the responsibility of the potential bidder to comply with all submission requirements applicable to the bidder in Section 6-63 of the Responsible Bidder Ordinance no later than the date of the public bid opening. The City reserves the right to request supplemental information provided by the bidder, and may also conduct random inquiries of the bidder's current and previous customers regardless of pre-qualified status. Any questions about bidding conditions must be addressed to the Owner in writing no later than December 1, 2025, at 3pm.
