Demolition, site work and new construction of a swimming pool in Boulder City, Nevada. Working plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for the construction of a swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.

**As of January 15th, 2026, the owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. The RFP is expected to be awarded on January 27th, 2026** This project is the demolition of the existing Boulder City Pool and construction of a new Swimming Pool complex. This project shall be performed under two contracts, one for Pre-Construction Services and one for Construction Services. Question Cut Off Date 12/9/2025 12:00:00 PM (PT) SCOPE OF WORK: The City of Boulder City ("City") hereby invites interested persons or organizations, qualified as a construction manager/general contractor ("Applicants"), to submit written Proposals for the performance of construction manager at risk services for the Swimming Pool Project ("Project"). The Design Professional is VCBO. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project is the demolition of the existing Boulder City Pool and construction of a new Swimming Pool complex. This project shall be performed under two contracts, one for Pre-Construction Services and one for Construction Services. Preconstruction Services shall include constructability reviews, construction cost estimates, advice, project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems, schedule, labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Swimming Pool Project as indicated on the plans. This scope of work shall also include any additional geotechnical and subsurface investigations beyond those performed by the design professional necessary to assist with establishing the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Construction Services. This scope of work may also include early ordering of equipment for the project. Construction Services shall include demolition and disposal of existing pool complex, nearby closed restroom facility and associated work. The work also includes relocation of existing playground equipment and shade cover to make way for the new pool complex, construction of the new pool complex including all utility connections, ADA accessibility, parking lot improvements, protection of the existing tennis courts, restoration of the park facilities, grass and trees affected by construction, etc. Preconstruction services are anticipated to begin February 2026 and construction is anticipated to begin August 2026, with estimated completion in August 2027. The estimated Project cost is $26,500,000 - $27,500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
