Renovation of an educational facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 82,593-square-foot, 10-story above grade educational facility.

Campus Replace Fire Alarm System at Kapalama Elementary School. Vendors are required to be compliant with all appropriate state and federal statutes, providing proof of compliance through Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE). Vendor registration in HCE is mandatory, with a subscription fee and a waiting period for compliance confirmation. Vendors must maintain timely compliance for consideration of award, and non-compliance may result in delayed payment, cancellation, or denial of award. The bid document, including drawings and specifications, will be available on compact disk from Arc-pacific at the expense of contractors/vendors. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to the Project Coordinator no later than 14 calendar days before the bid closing date. Addenda or clarifications, if required, will be issued no later than 7 calendar days before the bid closing date. Protests for awards must be electronically submitted via HEPS within 5 business days following the award date and must include file attachments containing the protester's rationale. All awardees must comply with the Interim General Conditions, 1999 Edition of the Department of Accounting and General Services, or the General Conditions (AG-008 103D) of the Department of the Attorney General, as applicable. It is the vendor's responsibility to read and comply with all general conditions, documents, or specifications whether attached or referenced. SCOPE OF WORK: Provides a complete campus fire alarm system. Work includes (but is not limited to) providing fire alarm control panels (emergency voice type) interconnected using a dedicated fire alarm fiber optic network, fire alarm devices, fire alarm cabling/wiring, power for fire alarm control panels and equipment, conduits, junction boxes, concrete encased underground ductlines, handholes/pullboxes, pull station signage, erosion prevention/sediment controls, environmental and painting work, programming/testing/training and the removal of the existing fire alarm system Questions/Clarification DOE, , Project Mgmt.
